Cali Dance Camp is an affordable weekend-long dance camp custom tailored for people of all ages, shapes & sizes at an entire campground nestled between the world-famous Hollywood sign and the Griffith Park observatory.

Don’t miss this epic event which only takes place once every year! Dance Engagements is a Los Angeles 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded with love – for dancers by dancers.

This historic campground was designed to provide youth in the Los Angeles area with a recreational camp close to the city, in a mountain-like atmosphere.

At CDC, campers will take various unique dance classes taught by professional working choreographers, uniting to give back to the community. Campers will experience hands-on self-discipline, teamwork, and social and cognitive building skills.

We achieve this by engaging in different group-based activities such as hikes, karaoke, storytelling, movie night, performances, self-improvement workshops, and much more.

Towards the end of our camp, we host an award ceremony. This is to honor those who have not only excelled but have also shown true dedication and diligent work throughout the camp.

Camp Hollywoodland has been our primary location for the past seven years! We feel this premier space allows us to share a phenomenal message that we can make a change through the art of dance, music, artistry, and environmental awareness.

We are the only non-profit dance organization in Los Angeles that offers a customized and unique dance camp event to underserved dancers from the community. We are seeking your​ ​help!

Dance Engagements invites you to become a sponsor for Cali Dance Camp 2022, which focuses on community, world dance culture classes, environment health, and team-building skills. The primary funding source for our CDC spectacle is from fundraising and sponsors, such as yourself. 

Dance Engagements receives no governmental funds. Therefore, your sponsorship will help dancers from all walks of life by allowing them to live the ultimate dance experience. Your contribution will also assure the success of this epic event, which will be held on September 9, 10, and 11, 2022, at the premier outdoor area inside Camp Hollywoodland, located in the heart of Hollywood.

Meet​ ​Dance​ ​Engagements​ — a non-profit 501(c) (3) dance organization devoted to engaging and educating dancers of all ages, shapes, and sizes in the arts of cultural dances from around the world. At the same time, promoting positive physical health, community outreach, environmental awareness, and self-betterment for over ten years!

 Dance Engagements is committed to giving back to the community and making a difference in the lives of many children and families. Nearly all staff and volunteers are alumni of the star-making, world-famous Hollywood High, who, through the Arts, have moved on to become professionals in various respectable fields. Together they have joined forces to manifest an organic dance company that pays forward all the opportunities they have been given without the desire for financial gain. Why? Because the Arts matter… Dance matters!

We represent our organization and community throughout the year with pride and respect. During the past couple of years, we have performed and participated in various events, such as the reopening of the Griffith Park Observatory, the 50th Anniversary of Jamaica, Michael Jackson Thrill the World, California African American Museum, 50th Anniversary for Ocean Park Community Center, National Water Dance Movement, Postal Carrier Day, Parades, Recitals, and Showcases throughout the city of Los Angeles.
